Photography

I've always been into photography, ever since my dad showed me how to take photos of steam trains when i was a little kid. At school i would almost always have a camera with me, but back then it was more shots of "me and my mates" than actually trying to show any photographic skills.

For years i had various point and shoot 35mm cameras up until 1997 when i got my first digital camera. It changed the way I thought about things. Having tried gig photography before digital, i didn't have enough knowledge or decent enough kit to get good results. But digital changed that.

Music has always been a massive part of my life, and I've been going to gigs ever since I looked old enough to get in. One year I made it to 183 gigs! Nowadays, I don't have as much free time, so I probably manage between 30 and 60 a year as well as (usually) at least two festivals. Wherever possible I try to take my camera.
